BACKGROUND (aka: a Naruto Shippuden filler idea that wouldn't suck so hard XD)

It was one of the most unusual yet memorable challenges Hinata Hyuuga had faced in her interesting life as a kunoichi of her village. Her sensei Kurenai had assigned her the important duty of representing the Leaf village in an exhibition boxing match against a certain monk order, a task Asuma normally took on but could do no longer.
Hinata was selected as his replacement due in part to her prodigious skill and part to the unavailability of the few ninja who may have been better suited to the challenge. But Hinata was definitely not out of her element with her amazing defensive skills. She was surprised yet relieved when she met her opponent, a friendly polite red-haired monk representing the opposition who was also known for his defensive capability. Daniel and Hinata exchanged formal pleasantries and almost seemed to be forming a friendship if not for the awkwardness of the obvious duel looming in their future.

What a duel it was becoming. Described by boxing commentators as the "ultimate defensive matchup". For over 10 rounds neither fighter could score much damage at once, despite both making grueling attempts at mounting an offense, because they were both so incredibly adept at blocking and countering. Their punching trades were like sonic-speed chess matches of fake-outs, counters, blocks, and dodges that even veterans would struggle to keep up with. Still the wear and tear of the sport inevitably mounted and slowly the two began to wither away at the other's defense until punches had to be traded with gusto. Hinata did not show it overtly but was clearly enjoying the battle as much as Daniel.

It is now Round 17, both fighters have finally reached the end of their remarkable stamina and are trying to end this war and claim victory for their comrades. But only one of these 'walls' will remain standing when the dust finally settles...
